• Started Tae Kwon Do October 1991 under instruction of Master Rienk Eelkema
• Tested for 1st Degree Black Belt April 1995 by Grand Master Moo Yong Yun
• Tested for 2nd Degree Black Belt July 1998 by Grand Master Spencer Brandt
• Tested for 3rd Degree Black Belt January 2004 by Grand Master Eugene Marquart
• Tested for 4th Degree Black Belt April 2009 by Grand Master Eugene Marquart & Marquarts Association Masters Panel
• Hapkido 1st Degree - May 2003 by Grand Master Sang Ki Lee
• Hapkido 2nd Degree - October 2004 by Grand Master Sang Ki Lee
• Hapkido 3rd Degree - February 2009 by Grand Master Sang Ki Lee
• Kumdo 1st Degree - November 2005 by Grand Master Eugene Marquart
